98 Ford F150: transfer case..diagram..a Blue Plastic Plate screwed

Customer Question

Replacing 98 Ford F150 transfer case motor, I notice an extra wire. Do you have a diagram on how to replace?
I noticed a Blue Plastic Plate screwed onto the motor with Wires to main plug, then 1 wire attched, looks like going up into transfer case!

Hi. The correct way to replace that motor is when the connector is disconnected you need to remove the terminal for that wire that goes into the transfer case.
