1999 f150: with a has two coil packs..for diag..firing order

This answer was rated:

i have a 1999 f150 4x4 with a has two coil packs at front of engine.looking for diag for spak plug location and firing order._thanks steve

the plugs are numbered
Passenger side front to rear: 1-2-3-4 Drivers side front to rear: 5-6-7-8

leads onto coil packs are like this:

************* Firewall ************

(Passenger Side) 4 * 8 (Drivers Side)

(Passenger Side) 3 * 7 (Drivers Side)

(Passenger Side) 2 * 6 (Drivers Side)

(Passenger Side) 1 * 5 (Drivers Side)

************ Radiator *************

It also well worth soaking the plugs in penetrating oil (WD40 or similar) before trying to undo them as they have a habit of seizing in the head, also when you do get them moving (having soaked them) undo a 1/4 turn and let the oil run down the thread a bit before taking them all the way out.
