NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the exterior mirror trim cover. pull to release the retainers.Item #1 in diagram #2.
  1. Disconnect the exterior mirror electrical connector.
  1. Remove the 3 exterior mirror nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
  1. Remove the exterior mirror.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

will i need any special tools related to auto repair. only have the usual home repair tools.

Nope, this is a straightforward repair, just a socket set and a ratchet is all that is needed.
