2001 FORD WINDSTAR

GETTING LOAD RUMBLE FRONT END WITH VIBRATION. I REPLACED WHEEL BEARINGS, PASSENGER SIDE HALF SHAFT. I CHECKED BOTH SIDES OF 1/2 SHAFT DRIVER SIDE HAS PLAY NEAR TRANNY. PASSENGER SIDE SEEMS TO HAVE MORE PLAY CLOSE TO TRANNY. NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON. VERY NOISY. TIRES ARE NEW.

I believe rht side but. On lift I can not hear it. I believe it is the bearing were the half shaft goes into transmission. It is pretty lose

on the right side where the axle goes in the trans is the final drive unit of the trans. basically the same as the rear differential. most likely the noise is coming from there. the trans has to be removed and completely disassembled to repair
