Hi, I am John Mc, a Ford dealer technician.
I hope I can help solve your problem quickly and accurately.

Please wait a moment while I work on your problem.

John Mc :

Did you take the center hub nut loose, I believe it is a 30mm. The drum and bearing come off as one piece.

No I did not. The center hub cover is still on. Is this hub cover a disposable item

John Mc :

It depends on how bad you mess it up taking it off :)

Just use a screwdriver and a hammer and make a dent in it and then tap it off. If you mess it up too bad you can get a new one at a dealer for a couple of bucks. Yes you can drive it until you get to a dealer. Once you get the cover off remove the nut and the drum will come right off.
