Ok when you crank the engine does the check engine light turn off?

Sorry, John, my mistake:

Key on, engine off, before cranking - no Check-Engine light;

Key on, cranking - Check-Engine light comes on.

Ok now I need you to disconnect your coil and one injector. Use a test light (important to be a test light for these procedures) and connect it to battery negative. See if one of the coil wires and one of the fuel injector wires have power with the key on and engine off.

 

If so, connect your test light to the positive side of the battery. Now check if the test light pulses in the other coil and other fuel injector wire.€Check for pulse while an assistant cranks the engine. Let me know what you find.

John, for some reason the replies from you are coming in slowly. Just received yours and now I have to leave for a scheduled errand. Thanks for your help so far. I'll "Accept Anwer" for now so you can be paid and I'll try to resume at a later time, OK?

Sure, just post here and I'll be glad to finish helping you. Just so you know if you have power but don't have a pulse when cranking you probably have a bad ignition module and pickup in the distributor. This is the most common issue for your problem. If this is the case you can buy a reman distributor and new ignition module from autozone for around $140.
