93 explorer: stalls..Flash trouble codes are 157 maf voltage…

Customer Question
My '93 explorer stalls often...
My '93 explorer stalls often at low rpm. Flash trouble codes are 157 maf voltage too
low, I read .6v at idle but only .8v @ 3000 rpm. I've looked for downstream vacuum
leaks but can find none.Is itthe map sensor, or have I overlooked somthing obvious?
Second, is code # XXXXX??? Even the best mechanics I know were baffled, our best
guess is that somthing was left open on the breakout box during an previous test.
Any help is appriciated.
Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX

We have seen this code 341, when the octane bar is missing. The MAF sensor have you tried cleaning the hot wire on the sensor? If the sensor is contaminated it can cause a stalling problem. The shift solinod has been another issue on these for stalling. Try unplugging the Shift Solenoid plug on the side of the transmission and see what happens.
