I've already had the update in he computer. I ran the truck today and there was no change.

Could these symptoms be caused by fuel starvation? Would the injectors test as defective if there were a restriction in the fuel system?
Ford Mechanic: Daniel, Ford Technician replied 8 years ago

I believe a weak lift pump would starve it the injectors will miss one the one cylinder that is bad or however many this is bad. a cylinder cut out test would help there.

There were several updates recomended one of the updates may be invalid so it will help to check with your dealer.

9 dollars, 2 hours of my time, and I drove away. Your diagnosis was right on the mark. Thank you so much.
