Hi, I am John Mc, a Ford dealer technician.
I hope I can help solve your problem quickly and accurately.

John Mc :

Does your cruise control operate properly?

Customer:

Last time i checked.

Customer:

Not totally sure haven checked lately

John Mc :

Thats ok, if you are in the car with the key on and engine off... in a quiet place... push the horn button and listen for a faint click. Can you hear a click?

Customer:

i'm not in the car now but earlier a friend said he did here a click

Customer:

10-4!!!

John Mc :

ok, that helps.

John Mc :

hold on, getting some info.

John Mc :

The horn is located under the left fender. If you hear a click try using a test light and see if the wire going to the horn is getting power when you hit the horn button. If you do you have a bad horn. If not you will need to check the horn relay in the under hood fuse box. If a relay doesn't fix it then you may have a wiring issue between the relay and the horn. If there is a problem with chew marks it should be pretty easy to find, just follow those wires from the horn to the fuse box. There is only a few feet in between.
