Yes, it's aXXXXX but I've never used 4 wheel feature, onlyXXXXXit's always in. Here's what he printed out for me:

Borg Warner 4405, Electronic shift complete assembly without transfer of parts (B) Universal Joint replace front axle, rear axle w/o independent suspension (c), transfer case, u joint, shop supplies, transmission oil merson 5.

I would estimate all this work at around $800.00 parts and labor.

Thank you. The estimate he gave me is 3 times this amount, Daryl. :o(

He estimated a tie rod end job and ball joints replacement also. Care to take a stab at that also?

Tie rod end replace outer tie rod both (b) Does not include adjusting toe-in. Tie rod end outer tie rod, Ball joint replace front suspension upper ball joint, both sides (b) lower ball joint both sides (b). Upper ball Joint, Lower Ball joint, alignment, shop supplies. That's what he printed out regarding the ball joints/bearings(?) job. I'd love to know what you think this work should cost. It's my last question. Thankx.

Expert:  Daryl replied 7 years ago.

I would estimate the front end parts at around $700.00 parts and labor, this may vary depending on what brand of parts are used.
