f250 2003 code P0720 Output speed sensor malfuction where can i get one and how do i replace it?
It is mounted on the top of the transmission, at the very back where the transmission bolts to the transfer case, I would recommend an OEM part fromt the dealer for this sensor, as some aftermarket sensors do not hold up as well as factory replacements.graphic

whats the diff. of the output speed sensor and a output shaft speed sensor?

They are the same just different terminology, the code you have is for the output shaft speed sensor, there are two other similar sensors, the turbine speed sensor which is mounted on the front part of the trans and the vehicle speed sensor which is mounted in the rear differential, it is used for mph input to the abs and pcm.
