Is there anyway to test the fuel pump without removing it? We've checked everything else but can not hear the fuel tank prime when the key switch is turned on. Originally we had intermittant problems with the car starting and originally thought it was a problem with the fuel pump relay, but the relay was replaced and now we're not able to get the pump to turn over at all, with key switch.

locate the inertia switch located in the right rear of the vehicle behind the right rear wheel well. it should have 2 wires going to it and a red button on the top of it. the 2 wires should be pink/black.

make sure that both wires have power using a test light and cranking the engine. if they do, i would suspect a faulty fuel pump.
