Wheel studs, exhaust studs ?

wheel studs and what has to be removed to get to them

Remove the brake caliper, rotor , then remove the wheel studs if there is not enough clearance to remove the studs you will need to remove the wheel bearing /hub assembly to remove the studs. The studs are remove with a hammer and installed with a hammer as well. Make certain the new studs seat completely or else your wheel will come loose as you drive the car and the studs pull the rest of the way into the hub.
