Hello J022381,

I'm Chris thanks for visiting us Technicians here at Just Answer.

There are 3 options

  • Look in the owners manual packet for the wallet card with the code.
  • Use a ford scan too lto access the module and retrieve it this way.
  • Look on the supporting module for the label with the 5 numeric charcters whcih is the door code.

On this vehicle the GEM module controls the key pad. This module is mounted to the back side of the interior fuse panel below and to the left of the steering column behind the removeable trim panel.

You must remove the GEM module from the back of the fuse panel to look for the label if it has not fallen off or faded. Both the fuse panel and GEM have to be removed together since there is no way to see all of the GEM while mounted.
