2000 explorer sport timing chain replacement instructions
good evening, do you have a SOHC or and OHV engine?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
OHV -You've already answered this question for complete (foolproof) step-by-step instructions for replacing timing chain 160 HP (VIN 1FMYU70E9YUA07797). Answer looked to be right on. Just forgot to copy url. And, I don't mind paying you guys $30 (and I think I already did) for getting me to do this right first time!
my apolagies, my internet is messing up and the OHV post did notshow on my screen so i figured i'd ask engine type first before i would repost the same thing. but glad you recieved it and if you have any further questions feel free to ask

also , in case you were unaware, i just ran your VIN through Ford's website and you still have an open recall on the vehicle to inspect the brake pressure switch on the reservoir for fluid leaking into the connecter, recall number 05S28. i suggest having this recall performed as a leaking switch can cause a fire to start.

if you are satisfied with my answer, please click 'ACCEPT' so i can get credit for my work and get paid for my time vested, and kindly leave positive feedback as it will be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks. What's the url of your post of the OHV instructions? ( I found it, but forgot to copy the url, and cannot find.) Is there a link I am missing? Here?
Appreciate your quick response!
what do you mean with the url? i am not too computer literate, automotive yes but not too computer savvy. if you have patience i can save and upload each picture individually but it might take about a half hour if you can wait
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
You had step-by-step, with illustrations (that I didn't see before I registered with you'll).
Started out with "rotate engine until #1 cylinder is at TDC and timing marks aligned..."
That's what I need, and where's the "accept" button to give you positive feedback?
Thanks again!
your screen as inquirer will be different from mine but there should be an 'accept' link in this report or in tools menu, or you can do as i and refer the help tab lol
maybe it is because i didnt submit any answer as an 'answer' try selecting this as an accept
