My 2000 Ford Explorer Sport has two problems. 1. My ABS brake

Resolved Question:

My 2000 Ford Explorer Sport has two problems. 1. My ABS brake light stays on all the time. 2. When i start the vehicle i cannot put the vehicle in any gear, unless i turn the vehicle off then turn the ignition switch to on without starting the vehicle, put it in neutral start the vehicle then i am able to put it in gear untill i shut the vehicle off then i have to start the process over again.

Okl, when you start the vehicle in park and press the brake. Do you hear a click inside of the steering columb?

No I don't hear a click.

Ok, see both diagrams below and print them. Check both fuses and if they are good then replace the brake shift interlock solenoid. You can get to it by removing the plastic on the bottom of the steering columb. I circled it in red.
