1990 ford ranger: dies the injectors..fuel pump relay

Resolved Question:

i have a 1990 ford ranger with a 2.9 liter engine, it cuts out and stalls and after it dies the injectors still pop the fuel pump relay still clicks . this is with the key in the run position after vehicle dies.

the check engine light is not on. there are no on demand codes. it has some keep alive codes 14 18 and 63

The injectors and fuel pump relay are controlled by the ECM , I would suspect that there may be a fault in the ECM. The codes are caused by loss of ignition signal.(14&18),and Throttle position sensor out of range (63 ) . Both of these codes will cause engine to cut out so I would start with these. First replace the TPS and inspect the Ignition TFI module for a fault.
