Tightening Specifications


Cylinder Head Retaining Bolts
Install NEW cylinder head retaining bolts and tighten in sequence in four steps:
Step 1: Tighten to 70-90 Nm (52-66 ft. lbs.) .
Step 2: Back off all bolts 360 ° .
Step 3: Tighten to 45-55 Nm (34-40 ft. lbs.) .
Step 4: Tighten to 85-99 Nm (63-73 ft. lbs.) .

* Over the entire cylinder head gasket surface.

Intake Manifold
Intake Manifold Support to Throttle Body 8-12 Nm
Intake Manifold Support to RH Cylinder Head 40-55 Nm
Degas Tube to Upper Intake Manifold Bolts 8-12 Nm
Intake Manifold to Cylinder Head Bolt (5) 26-32 Nm
Note: Refer to tightening sequence.
Throttle Body Fasteners 20-30 Nm
