You remove the spark plug boot from each cyl spark plug. Then use a 5/8 spark plug socket and a wratchet with a 3" extension, turning the plug counterclockwise to remove. You then take the gapped new spark plug and screw it clockwise into the cyl head.Torque to 18ft. lbs. Reinstall the spark plug boot.

How do I access the spark plugs?
Expert:  breakaway500 replied 8 years ago.
From the top. The plugs on the rh side are easier to get at if you remove the air box. Mark

Its been quite a while since I replaced them. Is there anything I can do to make them comeout easier?
Expert:  breakaway500 replied 8 years ago.
They should not be too bad. Make sure the engine is cold. You can spray a little penetrating fluid on the seat area if you feel they are really tight, however, these trucks usually are not a problem. Mark

Well I did it. The plugs on the passengar side were alot harder to get at, especially #3. However, it was much easier when I laid acros the engine so that I could put my arm straight down. Thanks for the help.
