Hello and welcome to


The thermostat is mounted in the mess of hoses in the bottom of the engine near the a/c lines. I will show you some pics of where it's located. You need to remove two 8mm bolts. You should also replace the gasket/o ring seal.


Removal and Installation

  1. Drain the engine cooling system



  • Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the water outlet adapter.



    1. Remove the bolts, the water outlet adapter and thermostat.
      • Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
    1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
