2002, Explorer, 134,000miles, v6, have not tried anything, the ford service told me it might be the rear wheel bearings.

Rear wheel bearings are common problems with these vehicle ,Prices are obviosly different in different areas.We charge about $250 per side,parts and labor.Hope this helps.
