Do you have rear drum brakes or rear disc brakes. You have mentioned both?

To replace rear brake pads on a disc brake system you need to raise the vehicle and remove the wheel then remove the caliper by removeing the caliper pins and then prying gently to rotate the caliper off. If this fails then you need to bleed the caliper to release the pressure on the piston and allow it to retract more. Once off you need to retract the piston and then replace the pads and then perform a brake fluid bleed on that wheel. Ford states you must remove the rubber brake hose but I have never had to on a brake service on this vehicle.

From what I see there are no Caliper pins.
It looks as though the Caliper is part of the rear wheel assembly.
There are no Bolts on the Caliper that would hold it in place.
I have ssen some illistrations that show the Lug pins remover to remove the assembly.
Is there a illistration on how to remove th Pins??

There may be plastic covers over the pins which you pop off.
