1998 Ford Ranger: there an adjustment for clutch pedal travel..bearing

Resolved Question:

Is there an adjustment for clutch pedal travel on a 1998 Ford Ranger with a 2.5 engine and 5 speed trans. After having a new clutch pilot bearing and slave cylinder with throw out bearing installed pedal is within an Inch from the floor before clutch disengages. Mechanic who installed say this is normal

There is no adjustment on the clutch on your 1998 Ranger, I would suspect he may have had the flywheel turned and its not recommended. If its a new fly wheel then its likely normal till the clutch wears in a bit.
