1996 F350 Powerstroke Diesel 5 speed manual transmission.

Resolved Question:

1996 F350 Powerstroke Diesel 5 speed manual transmission. When completely depressed the clutch does not complete dis-engage the transmission. Having one heck of a time getting it into reverse (grinding).

one of the most common problems and may be simple as well look at the clutch pedal bushings and push rod bushings these things are plastic and can wear out the plastic as well as the bushing pin , if these 2 are ok then ive seen the pressure plate fingers get a groove worn into them and the only way to fix is a clutch job.
