What does an Exclamation Point in a flashing circle mean

Resolved Question:

I was coming home from work and an Exclamation Point in a circle started flashing. Then it went off and then came back on again and then went off.

The #12 light flashing indacates a transmission concern. The next step is you will need the system scanned and the code or codes retrived which will direct you in the proper repair. These are the possiable areas of concern.

  • Circuitry.
  • Check transmission indicator bulb.
  • PCM.
  • Instrument cluster printed circuit.
