A new alternator will cost approximately $200.00, when replacing alternator I would also recommend replacing the serpentine belt as well since you are already going to be in there. The belt runs any where fom $20.00 to $45.00 depending on quality. And as far as labor the labor book calls for about .8 of an hour, figure at $100.00 hr labor. So about $80.00 in labor, or save the labor and do it yourself.
