Are you talking about a 4.6 Ford engine?

Customer: replied 9 years ago.
yes, my type error, 2003 ford 4.6liter v-8 in a e-150 club wagon (chateau)
Expert:  Ron replied 9 years ago.
Well the good news is the 4.6 dosnt have a problem spitting plugs, the 6.8 has this problem as the thread depth isnt long enough.

Reply to Ron's Post: I have read dozens of complaints on line from ford owners claiming that their 4.6 spits plugs. the most common is #3. are you certain that the 4.8 has no problem like this?
Expert:  Ron replied 9 years ago.
I have repaired dozen of 6.8 with stripped out threads but have never heard of or had to repair a 4.6.
