Customer Question
The AC is stuck...

The AC is stuck on hot. I bought a new blend door actuator but I dont know how or where to install it. It is a 2001 Lincoln Continental .

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the Freon level?

Yes. I have. Even emptied a whole can. It did nothing.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Continental yourself? What have you tried so far?

I've tried the Freon. Can't find any tutorials online for this type of car to know how to fix it

My Lincoln Continental is stuck on heat. I bought a new blend door actuator but I don't know how to install it or where on the car to install it. I tried Freon. Didn't work one bit.
Lincoln Mechanic: EricFromCT, Technician replied 11 months ago

Sounds like a blend door actuator issue. Youneed to remove the floor console to gain accesss to the actuator.
