Customer Question

Car won't start, doesn't even turn over
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: Put new battery in today, still nothing
JA: What is the model/year of your Lincoln?
Customer: 2002 LS with v8
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, cleaned battery connections, new battery, still nothing. I watched video today and they started talking about theft mode. But did have time to keep going. Do u know how to clear theft?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of, probably have questions as soon as he/she answers.

Check for power to the starter motor.

You may have a bad ignition switch causing this issue too. Power must come out of the ignition switch in order for anything else to work.

Check all fuses too.

Thanks, Ron
