It's not running right, 2009 MKS, i had the check engine

Customer Question

it's not running right
JA: What is the model/year of your Lincoln?
Customer: 2009 MKS
JA: Are you fixing your MKS yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i had the check engine light come on, and I got two codes. Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1, and Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1 I am going to replace the o2 sensors as it's at 100k miles, and I'm hoping that's the actual issue and not something else
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: it stayed on. Went and read the codes and deleted it. Wouldn't start, ran rough at cold, and then at temp ran fine, but seemed sluggish hoping it's actually the sensors causing the problems and not anything else
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: it did it last week, after filling up with gas started the car, drove about 100 feet, sputtered and lost power and was jerky. Stopped and then it settled down and drove normal I let it sit for 5 days and then it ran funny again and those are the codes the reader got back as faults
