JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?

Check the small wire on the starter for voltage when the key is in the on position. If you have voltage the starter solenoid is the problem. If no voltage, then there could be a security or wiring issue causing the problem. I can send you a wiring diagram of the starting circuit from the factory service manual if you would like.
