The sensor on the right side of the pwer steering rack is leaking fluid, this is a 2004 town car
JA: Just to clarify, can you actually see the leak? And have you checked the reservoir?
Customer: yes I can see the leak and the reservoir is about half full.
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: 2004 Lincoln town car, ultima
JA: Are you fixing your Town Car yourself? What have you tried so far?

Is the switch your revering to the power steering pressure switch? If in fact that is the case then the switch will need to be replaced to resolve this leak.

If you refering to the power steering pressure switch then Yes it screw off and should be replaceable.

Are you sure this switch mount on the rack or is it on the high pressure power steering hose?
