I have a new driver front interior door handle but the, i believe it's called the "door carrier" of the "Plate" that holds the retaining clip, broke.
JA: What is the model/year of your Lincoln?
Customer: '03 navigator, base
JA: Are you fixing your Navigator yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: The same thing happen to the passenger side and it was an easy fix. Just replace the handle. but the driver's side piece the top of the pin slide into broke off. Was told coudn't glue it back on so want to replace it.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: If there's a charge for this, forget it./

Hi. If you can upload a picture that would help me see what is broken. But you should be able to replace the piece that the handle clips into. You might need the entire door "module" its called.

I don't have a picture the door handle fix into an assembly. the cable slip into a notch on the handle, a the spring slips over a pin and the pin fits into a notch in the bottom and top of the part I need. If you are a lincoln mechanic you should know what I'm referring to.
