Radiator fan operating when engine is cold. Should it? No,

Customer Question

radiator fan operating when engine is cold. Should it?
JA: Has the car been overheating? Have you checked the fuses?
Customer: No, car is not overheating
JA: What is the model/year of your Lincoln?
Customer: 1997 lincoln towncar
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: My A/C works fine but hot air flows out of the vents. Some have said that it is the baffle in the wrong position. I certainly believe that but I wondering if the temperature sensor might be sending the worng signal to both engine and the A/DC
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of.
