Customer Question

i have a 1999 lincoln town car , when i removed the alternator the two wires came out of the wiring harness , it looks like they came out of the outside holes in the harness there are three holes for wire but only two wires . The alternator itself has 3 pins , does it make any difference where these two wires are placed as long as they are in the outside locations on the harness ?
