Thank you again for trusting us with your problem. John aka eauto

No, the air bags have been replaced with springs. Would just like to turn off the light.

Behind the glovebox you'll find the electronic variable power steering control module which also moonlights as the air suspension module. On that, you'll find 2 connectors, 1 of which will have a dark green wire with a light green tracer. Cut that wire, and forget it was ever there

No dark green/light green wire. What now?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
on older models that would be the black connector C2 pin 11. not on this 2008.

your question states 2002

is it a 02??????? or a 08????

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
sorry for my error, it is a 2002. But still no dark green/ light green tracer. an older 1996 manual has this wire in the c2 connector but my 02 does not have a dark green/light green wire in eather connector

Sorry I went with the conversion MFGs directions, The springs may be MOOG but I am pretty sure they do not put a conversion kit together.

The instructions were from Arnott Industries and I called them and was told by their technical guy that there is no way to disable the warning on '02 and up. The air suspension is tied to the variable effort steering and to remove the air module from the communication bus will disable the variable effort steering as well so there would be a warning from there as well. As the module uses the communication bus to report its health and the instrument cluster generates the warning message from the information on the bus you cannot disable the warning message.

Sorry for feeding you the same misinformation that I was fed

OK, thanks for the info. sence I started texting with you I got some info that said the ecu would have to be reprogramed. Don't know it this can be done or what it would entail. O'well will have to keep working on it.
