Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer working afternoon till just after midnight.

With the key in the run position, what is the theft light doing?

What brand remote start is this?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
theft light is on, the remote came with the car, no clue about the brand, can't tell you either because my son is delivering the spare keys to my wife, he has to drive 4 1/2 hours to do that
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
my wife tells me that it appears that the key lost its programming
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

Is the theft light on solid or is it flashing rapid with the key in the run position?

Can you have her look on the back of the remote to see if it says FoMoCo Ford Motor Company?

You said it wants to start with the remote meaning it cranks but does not start?
