I have a 1998 lincoln navigator. My stero systems has no bass. I have a subwoofer located in the rear panel. It is not functional at all. How do i check, repair or replace. Speaker Amp or both?
Expert:  A. Penland replied 1 year ago.

Below is a pin point test you can follow to diagnose the subwoofer problem. The subwoofer and amplifier comes as an assembly. It is not a fuse problem because it is powered off the same fuse for the radio. Ford no longer sells the subwoofer. You will have to go used or find a car stereo repair shop to have the subwoofer replaced.
