Hi, my name is ***** ***** is caused by fuel getting into the charcoal cannister and floods out the engine, can you try putting the gas pedal all the way to the floor and holding there when cranking, and see if it starts up? this is the clear flood mode?
you will need to have it jump started, or the battery charged before trying this, if it starts when the peadl is held to the fllor, then it was flooded, usually this is caused by either a bad charcoal cannister, or the tank was overfilled, when you pump gas, do you stop when the pump shuts off, or do you add a little more to top it off?
Have you checked for spark at the plugs, when cranking?
ok, then you will need to check for spark at the spark plugs when cranking, can you do this?
remove one of the coils from the sparkplug, and insert a spare plug into it and lay on the motor, then crank the engine over and watch for spark at the plug,Tim
ok, then its not going to be a spark problem, most likely a bad fuel pump, if you hold the pedal down a little, does it stay running?
try holding down the pedal and see if it stays running
It still sounds like a bad fuel pump, if it starts and then dies right away,Tim
