Lincoln aviatior: I have a 2004 Aviator. The driver's side

Customer Question

I have a 2004 Aviator. The driver's side vents blow much less air than the passenger side. Happens both with heat and ac. I also have a freon leak to the rear of the car (above the spare) and that repair has been quoted at $744.00. Repair person tells me the blower strength in the front is a separate issue, but doesn't know the problem. Any ideas?

The front issue, you need to feel around to see if you have air flowing out of the defrost or floor vents when commanded to come out the dash, which would indicate a mode door issue. If that is not occurring then the panel register ducting needs to be checked to see if it has come apart and your blowing out air behind the dash. The rear lines that are leaking are only sold in the full length. You want a excellent 5 star answer & I would like to be rated the same for providing it. Consider I don't know your skill level & I can't see, smell, hear, or touch the vehicle. It may take a few back and forth replies. Try your best to respond with good detail so I can do the same. I normally log in at 3pm and work late. A rating is required. Your rating me, what I type. I am not an employee of this website, nor have control over the fees or the time it took to get a response. If you rate negative or not at all you still paid, but I get nothing. I want you pleased with me and my efforts, so let me know if your experience here has come up short. Thanks Chris
