Working on wifes lincoln T/C blend door motor, when un mounted motor will run like 270 degrees around, but the door only turns like 60 degrees between hot and cold? Is it goig to break that door everytime? doesn't make sense. Dash is out and car is all apart. Dan

Hello and thank you for your question,There should be no reason for the actuator to break the blend door once the actuator is installed, it's normal for it to move further then the door and once it's mounted it will turn till the door is closed in either direction and then stop. Place it on the mounting and try it back and forth and it should shut off.
