Lincoln mkx I have a diagnostic code P2135 come up on my Lincoln

Resolved Question:

I have a diagnostic code P2135 come up on my Lincoln MKX 2007. I have had the throttle body replaced just 6 months ago..Can this be a sensor or does this code include fuel filter?
Thanks for your help

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help get your problem resolved. Ask follow up questions, thanks. This is usaully caused by a failing accelerator pedal position sensor/switch which is located under hood and about a $80 part.

My sister is driving the MKX as we speak. She just responded that she had the pedal sensor replaced along with pedal. Now I'm getting more info.. Sorry Any other ideas?

If the code has been gone awhile since she replaced its possible it failed again otherwise test wiring giong to throttle pedal sensor.
