HI. I have a nordic track recumbent bike that the console buttons will not work for (intermittently). When the buttons dont work the console will stay lit indefinitely. When the console turns itself off I know it is working.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: C3si not sure how old...maybe 6 yearas years
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It has been going on for about 1 month. I have taken apart the upper console to make sure all wires are firmly connected.
JA: Anything else you want the equipment expert to know before I connect you?

Hello, my name is***** to Justanswer! Give me just a few minutes to look up some specifics, I'm working on this now.

Expert:  Rusty replied 10 months ago.

Unplug it and plug it back in. This is where to start, tell me if it comes back to life.

The problem is intermittent and isn't happening at this moment. When it happens, power cycling does nothing. The console lights will stay on but the buttons won't work.

Ok, that sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Check all of the wiring, a loose ground can cause this to happen intermittently. Make sure everything is tight, and tell me if it starts acting up again.
