Customer Question

I have a older C700 that worked just fine until I moved it. Now the belt will not run, everything else works. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Did you take anything apart to move it?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I took the control panel off, two small connectors

OK did any wires get pinched at all? Did it get dropped or bumped? 99% of the time it's a pinched wire, bad connection or damaged Motor control board after a move. Being it's older the electronics get very brittle and even a Little bump can damage the board

if all the wires are good then you will need to replace the Motor control board. You can order one from fitnessrepairparts. Com or Treadmill doctor com

I took it apart a second time and nothing was damaged.

Well that leaves the board. It's an easy Repair. Just remove the Motor cover with a screwdriver to access it.

ok, I will try that, thanks

I unplugged it, thanks. The parts place said they thought it was a broken wire, so I will take it all apart before I spend $175 for the board.

You can Check each wire with a volt meter to see if they are damaged. But since you have power and everything works but Motor that's a tell tale sign of a bad board. I replace 10-15 boards every week. It's very common
