Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question. I presume that the brushes you replaced were in the motor? If the treadmill won't run, but shows no other symptoms but definitely has power and console or control functions, then you might have a defective motor. But I advise taking it apart, at least taking the outer case over the circuitry off, and, with it 'live' and turned On, observe whether any boards inside it have blinking lights or steady lights, and if so, what board/where in the machine, and what color, blinking pattern, etc. That may indicate what is wrong more accurately.(To give you more specific advice, I would recommend letting me know what the maker and model # ***** please. Thanks!)
