VerifiedHi First just double check the safety key is correctly inserted... If so then we will need to check the fault led on the motor controller, this link takes you to document that indicates the fault described by this led as well as to how to enter calibration mode:

Don't forget to try a power down reset... Unplug from the wall, leave 5 minutes then repower...
With the meter you need to first power down the unit, unplug the sensor and rig your meter probes to connect across the sensor and then set the meter to Ohms (choose the lowest setting) and then spin the roller by hand. As the magnet goes past the sensor you should see the reading fall to less than 10 ohms...
Good Luck... The sensor is not an expensive item, the board it connects to is... Does your sensor connect to to the motor board or the console?
