I have a Bowflex treadclimber. It is making a noise and something

Resolved Question:

I have a Bowflex treadclimber. It is making a noise and something seems to be rubbing against the belts. I see black dust all around the base of the machine.

if the belt is shifted right or left it could be rubbing on the sides. Usually black dust is just your shoes wearing out. Most likely it is just plastic rubbing against the belt. you would need to look around it as it is running to see where exactly it is coming from.
