Verifiedthere is a small needle bearing gear that drives the machine. It is mounted on the eddy mech and is the small pulley that the drive belt rides on. The gear has went bad. You will need to replace the gear or if it is no longer available you may need to purchase a whole new eddy mech assy. I believe they have updated the gear and no longer use it. You can check for the part at iconservice.com or I would check on ebay for a new eddy mech I saw them on one sellers list here http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Audiorider-strider-Eddy-Mech-Elliptical-Bike-10-/160532919685?pt=Exercise_Fitness_Cardio&hash=item256081f585

I was looking at a newer model. Yours has a pulley mounted to the axle. Make sure this has not broken free from the axle. Then double check to make sure the idler is holding the belt tight enough so you only can turn the belt half way. This will let you know the tension is ok. Your problem has to be one of these two issues because on your model there is nothing else that makes it drive. Here is a link to the axle if you need it.
