VerifiedIf your belt is going to the right then you would have needed to turn the right bolt clockwise not counterclockwise (you need to tighten the side it is going to)(righty tighty-lefty loosey).
Tighten the walk belt until you are able to walk on it without it slipping. You should be able to lift the middle of the belt from underneath it about 3". It may take several full turns if it is way out of adjustment. Just keep tightening the belt with the treadmill running at about 6 mph once you get it fairly centered, so you don't hit the side rails and ruin the belt. Thanks for the question and it sounds hard, but this is a fairly simple repair just stick with it and be patient it will tighten up and center for you.
