VerifiedI am not familiar with that make but it sounds as if he may have bumped the speed pot on the motor controller. This is a part on the board that is turned to increase or decrease the speed of the belt. See if you can locate it and if you can turn it with the treadmill running at its top speed turn it until the speed matches what it should be. If you need additional help maybe you could take a picture of the board(s) and post them on here so I can see them.
